Sarah's Vineyard Bats 1000 at the Chronicle Wine Competition - Again!
Sarahs Vineyard is pleased to announce that 6 of 6 wines entered in the 2010 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition received Gold, Silver or Bronze medals. 2005 Syrah Receives 90 Rating from Robert Parker
Sarahs Vineyard is pleased to announce that Robert Parker Jr has given our 2005 Syrah Besson Vineyard a 90 point rating. This was first reported in Wine Advocate #177 [June 2008]. Mr. Parker's analysis complimented the complex aromatic and flavor profile of the wine; noting sweet tannin, spice, flowers, black currants, cherries and broad, savory flavors which "only add to the appeal of this wine". In The Wine Advocate Rating System, a score of 90 indicates "An outstanding wine of exceptional complexity and character. In short, these are terrific wines."

Expansion Highlights Acclaimed Gilroy Vineyard, The Gilroy Dispatch
I popped open a bottle of Sarah's Vineyard 2004 Reserve Pinot Noir the other day, bottle number 299 of 2,376 to be exact. This fruit was sourced from Sarah's Dellamaggiore Vineyard. It was balanced with a hint of oak, nice plum, coffee and clove spice. It was slightly earthy and had a long finish - I simply had to get more.
